Architect: Tomás Bilbao
The house on Ripa Street, in Bilbao, faithfully reflects the transition experienced by Tomás Bilbao at the beginning of the 1930s, which was prompted by a lecture given by Walter Gropius at the Carlton Hotel in November 1930.
Bilbao completely modified the plans drawn up to that time, and presented a façade with a modern and dynamic composition, in which it plays with different planes and curved volumes, so typical of concrete construction.
