Architects: Juan Madariaga, Joaquín Zarranz
The school, which was composed by several medium-size buildings, would adopt a coherent and proportionate order. Thanks to this, the classrooms would be protected from the traffic noise of the adjacent streets, gaining in lighting and ventilation.
This is how the architects arranged a set of five buildings around a large courtyard, facing south, with views of the estuary and shelter from the north winds.
Despite being large-scale buildings, the architects knew how to avoid any monumental temptation.
